Keep the traces of the past. Interpret contemporaneity. It faces the future.

An elegant, quiet and refined atmosphere pervades its contemporary architecture. The long windows bring out the brightness of the lofts and the New York grids. Subtle materials and detailed contemporary or historical designed furnishings, from the generous service spaces to the greenness that touches the windows from the courtyard; two elements that are hard to find together in one place.

The welcoming green courtyards surround the venue and its high ceiling salons on two facets, whilst the spaces for exhibitions and the mezzanines widen the possibility of enjoying the space and experiencing the event in full. The two levels create multiple points of view and plays with stereoscopic lines and volumes, until finally creating simultaneously architecture of industrial scale and of classical proportions. Like a magic box or a kaleidoscope pointed from Milan towards the sky, EDIT preserves traces of the past, interprets contemporaneity and faces the future.

EDIT is a great contemporary architecture project, thankfully created at the hands of the Architect Antonio Citterio who recovered an imposing industrial structure from the early twentieth century to turn it into an elegant, pure and refined environment of design. It is a timeless space with endless possibilities. It has an unusually large amount of space for a venue in the city centre and supports an open view to the city’s new Skyline.

EDIT amazes due to the energy and airiness in the setting of its Milanese context. The articulation between two-levels creates multiple points of view and plays with stereoscopic lines and volumes, until finally, simultaneously creating architecture of industrial scale and of classical proportions. Like a magic box or a kaleidoscope pointed from Milan towards the sky.
